How to Get a Beta Code for MW4
Learn how physical and digital pre-orders grant Modern Warfare 4 beta early access, plus open access expectations and PC security requirements.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (MW4)
Physical pre-orders: where to get your beta code
If you pre-order a physical edition, you should expect a beta code at the point of sale from a participating retailer. That code grants Open Beta Early Access.
Physical Standard Edition pre-orders qualify for early access on your chosen available platform.
Digital pre-orders: no beta code required
Digital pre-orders automatically receive Open Beta Early Access, so you do not need a beta code.
Both Digital Standard and Vault Edition pre-orders qualify for early access on your chosen available platform.
Access without a pre-order and beta timing
Players who do not pre-order should still expect access to the open portion of the beta.
The beta announcement leaves exact timing and availability details for a later announcement.
PC access requirements
PC requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Other security measures may also be enforced.
