MW4 Storage Requirement and Download Size
Modern Warfare 4 requires 115 GB on an SSD for PC. Learn what that means for download size and how mandatory updates can increase storage use.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (MW4)
How much storage does the PC version require?
The listed PC storage requirement is 115 GB on an SSD across all three specification tiers. An HDD is unsupported, even if it has enough free space.
Is 115 GB the download size?
115 GB is the PC storage requirement, not a confirmed Steam or Battle.net download size. Per-platform download sizes have not been published, and circulating console package sizes are estimates rather than confirmed figures.
Can storage use grow beyond 115 GB?
Mandatory game updates can increase storage use beyond 115 GB. The listed PC specifications apply to launch and may change later, so 115 GB should not be treated as a permanent storage ceiling.
