MW4 Zombies Announcement Status
Understand the reported Zombies announcement status, why pre-order mentions concern Black Ops 7, and how DMZ differs.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (MW4)
Has Zombies been announced?
The reported announcement status is that Zombies has not been announced for Modern Warfare 4. This is not confirmation that it will never arrive, or a live check of subsequent announcements.
The game-page mode listing includes Campaign, Multiplayer and DMZ without mentioning Zombies. That omission alone cannot establish whether Zombies is included.
Why does the pre-order page mention Zombies?
The pre-order page’s Zombies mentions concern a Black Ops 7 challenge that awarded Skulls for Zombies eliminations in Black Ops 7. Those mentions do not announce a Modern Warfare 4 Zombies mode.
What does DMZ offer for playing with friends?
DMZ is the listed option for playing with friends against AI, but its extraction gameplay also involves other players.
Players enter a large map, pursue objectives, collect loot and attempt to extract alive. Extracted items carry into the next match.
